Bucket List: Find a swimming hole!

One of our favorite places to go to in the Sequoias is the swimming hole near the Potwisha campgrounds. Its a very short and easy hike.


Directions to the Potwisha Campground, Sequoia National Park, California: Drive east on RT 198 into Sequoia N. P.(called "General's Hwy" in the park) to the Potwisha Campground. This video was shot across the street. Turn right at the "Dumping Station" and park in the dirt parking lot. The trail is clearly marked at the end of the parking lot. Take the trail to the swinging bridge and make a right onto the bridge then make your way down to the beach area. We leave the food in our car and then drive up to Hospital Rock and eat there.
